How do I clean my aligners?

HOW DO I CLEAN MY ALIGNERS?

To keep your Invisalign® clean and transparent, it is ideal to wash it with warm water and brush it with a soft bristle toothbrush. Taking care of aligners is key to ensuring the success of your treatment.

You can also use cleaning crystals, it is one of the best ways to clean Invisalign retainers and aligners.

HOW TO USE CLEANING CRYSTALS?

To clean your device with the cleaning crystals, remove your aligners or clear retainer and rinse with water. Place your device in a container, covering it with warm water. Add one sachet of Invisalign Cleansing Crystals, then mix to distribute and dissolve the crystals. Leave your aligners in the container for about 15 minutes. Shake the container one more time, remove your aligners and rinse them with water.

KEEP IN MIND MOST BRAND CLEANSING CRYSTALS WORK

There are other cleaning brands that will also work to give your aligners a deep clean. For example, Polident aligner cleaner is a popular option. We recommend that you consult Dr. Glória Silva before using them just to make sure they are safe for the thermoplastic material.
